Overview

Hello Travelers!

Tucked away in the easternmost corners of Northeast India, this 5-day Mizoram expedition offers an extraordinary journey through the “Land of the Highlanders”—a realm where dramatic mountain ridges cut through sea-like morning mists, pristine bamboo forests echo with mountain breezes, and time seems to move at its own gentle pace.

From the calm, zero-honking streets of sky-high Aizawl to the sheer, wind-swept cliffs of Reiek Tlang, this circuit immerses you in a landscape defined by rolling alpine grasslands, grand white-marble monuments, and the rich, warm hospitality of Mizo tribal culture.

As we venture south toward the roaring 750-foot cascade of Vantawng Falls and walk behind the secret water curtain of Tuirihiau, the route reveals nature at its most raw and unhurried. The journey peaks in the frontier valley of Champhai, threading past lush terraced rice fields and local vineyards straight to the Indo-Myanmar border at Zokhawthar, where the mystic, heart-shaped waters of Rih Dil sit steeped in ancient folklore.

Blending thrilling clifftop treks, hidden forest waterfalls, and unforgettable cross-border tales, this itinerary delivers a pristine, off-the-beaten-path Northeast escape unlike any other.

Highlights of the trip:

  • Solomon’s Temple
  • Aizawl Bara Bazar
  • Reiek Tlang (Reiek Peak)
  • Reiek Heritage Village
  • Aizawl Peak Skywalk (Glass Bridge)
  • Hmuifang – High Altitude Ridge
